Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: Tasted right next to Talbot and the wine is similar in style. Elegant, with blue and red fruits, still a bit more volume would be good. The tannic structure was very well judged.

The nose on the 2022 Lagrange is so sleek, gorgeous, and naturally concentrated, full of boysenberry. The fruit is joined on the palate by a wonderful mineral and cocoa element. The tannic structure here is really silky - actually among the very silkiest in St. Julien in 2022 - and the finish lingers so nicely. Yet another Lagrange masterfully done.

Deep in color, the nose reminds you of walking into a flower shop carrying a basket of fresh-picked berries. The wine is silky, fresh, polished, elegant, and deep, with length, soft tannins, and waves of fruit and freshness in the finish. Starting with the 2016 vintage, Lagrange has been on a hot streak and with 2022, the streak continues! The wine is produced from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Drink from 2027-2055. 94-96 Pts.

En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Two (Bordeaux): Red over black fruit smell a little dilute, touch of herbaceousness. It's a touch sour, hard and unpleasant. Not showing well. Nah.
