Tasted at Don Melchor vertical dinner with Enrique Tirado. More energetic and vivacious compared to the 1988 served alongside. Rather austere, though more open and forgiving than the rather severe ‘88. Not the best example of an aged Bordeaux blend.

Fully matured, earthy tones, cellar floor, lots of herbs - rosemary, sage - very interesting, great with food, still has some tannins to keep it for some time but I doubt it will get any better.
