  Wonderful nose of earth and leather. Palate of leather, dried cherry, tobacco, spice. A hint of pepper. Loooong finish. Maybe 60 seconds. Much better than last bottle which may have been flawed or stored improperly. This is terrific!

  Stewed prune on the nose. Lighter sweeter taste on the palate. Some leather and hint of tart red cherry. Decent, not great.

  Second bottle, this one for xmas evening. Just as impressive as the bottle we shared together a month earlier for Thanksgiving. Simply elegant and wonderfully aged.
