Sweet orange marmalade, tobacco and toffee nose. Flavours of barley-sugar, coffee and curaçao, hints of citrus, caramel and bitter orange in the finish. Possibly better with food than alone?

Drank it alongside the "Noe" by Gonzalez-Byass. No comparison. This one was much thinner with less balancing acidity and less intensity. The taste was much more fleeting and slipped away rather rapidly once the wine had gone down the gullet.

This wine is of good value, with viscosity and sweetness. It may need more cellaring time in order to have the alcohol smoothened. However it's a good dessert wine with strong smell of honey and candy and vanilla. It tastes smooth and it's quite balanced. Must be chilled before drinking.

Deep brown, pronounced nose of prune, date, fig, brown sugar, caramel, artichoke. Luscious sweetness, low acid, full body, pronounced notes of prune, caramel, date, fig, artichoke.

Monthly Tasting Group EEE #031; Dessert wines (@ J in A.): This is an extremely concentrated and syrupy wine. Currants, raisins, caramel and orange peel. Same on the palate with some coffee candy as well. A beautifully clean and clear PX with enormous sweetness, but very nicely balanced by beautiful acidity. Probably suitable for extreme lone ageing. 2040+
