After an initial small glass, I left the rest of this in the bottle in the cellar for two days. This note reflects tasting on day two. Well colored. Attractive nose of graphite and red and black fruits. Showing some nice spice in the mouth. hints of oak only add to the complexity of this wine, rather than overshadow the fruit. Slightly bitter finish. Has good presence and staying power compared to other bottles I’ve had of this wine, I would recommend either waiting five years or making sure you give this plenty of air. This wine is decent young, but even better with plenty of air. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.

Popped and poured. Young, but totally approachable and more than drinkable. Soft but structured, this is a nice wine. Dark cranberry color. Red legs. Feminine nose, with a mineral profile. Very satisfying palate, rich, cocoa, pretty, this strikes just the right note. Hard to imagine a wine of this age drinking better. Slowly unwinds and builds into the finish. Count me among this wine's fans, especially at the price (tiny, given the quality). 4-12-17-8: 91/100.
Ripe red and dark berries and very creamy bouquet. On the palate the same red and dark berries, red berries as well, firm acidity, a touch of sweetness, a good length and soft beautifully round tannin. There is probably a great future but at this moment the wine is already in its perfectly youthful drinking stage. 91-93+

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting (Amstel Boathouse, Amsterdam, NL): Lifted Cabernet Franc and ripe Merlot, firm but ripe tannins, good presence on the palate, good resonance and length. Marries power and a certain charm.

The 2018 UGCB tasting Amsterdam 6/21/2021 (Amsterdam, Amstel Boathouse): The bouquet is still quite closed, but there is a lot to come and there is more excitement in the midtaste compared to the Clinet. The refinement in the aftertaste is exemplary.
