  • Opened in Courchevel. P&P and served over lunch.

This needed a bit of air to get going, but once it did, this was fantastic. gorgeous rich golden colour. Nose of butter and toasted sesame, yielding to a rich, long and beautifully balanced palate with great salinity and acidity to cut through.

No extensive notes otherwise, but what a treat! Will keep at this level for a few years, but for my tastes at least this is at peak, and wouldn't hesitate to drink if presented with another opportunity. Thanks to KG for sharing and a pleasure to try with G & M.

  • Absolutely superb. Super-complex aromatics of coconut, cut pineapple, vanilla, bacon fat and smoke. It is extremely rick and powerful and whilst acidity is low it floats across the palate. There’s so much sap and breadth and the wine keeps driving on and on.

  • Rich viscous and opulent. Biggest chard I have ever had, but was balanced and gorgeous. Ripe round pears, pineapple white fruit, but bright acidity and minerality. Beautiful and nuanced. Will age despite the 03 ripeness
