Palate: Honey, stone + tropical fruit (apricot, kumquat, lychee?). Full bodied and a bit sweet relative to the acid level, but i think this is expected. Definitely still on the young side. Medium+ length.
One of my first Sauternes experiences and it was really enjoyable! The nose might be the main attraction. I feel as though this could get a lot more interesting, especially with respect to the palate, with another 10y+ of age.

At Leura, NSW as an aperitif. This wine remains delicious in any setting with a golden barley-sugar colour and a rich nose of apricot, blood orange, cumquat jam, vanilla bean and spice. The palate is rich and round with delicious citrus and stone fruits, creme brulee and leatherwood honey characters that persist beautifully. There is plenty of grape tannin, minerality and acid evident here to make this wine a fine aperitif.

Subdued honey caramel on the nose, but with a huge hit of apricot, honey and marmalade to taste - very long with sugar, slightly burnt and tropical fruit hints going on and on. Not much in the way of development in the couple of years since my last bottle - enjoying the weight and clean fruit taste.

During a Matter of Taste walkabout tasting, only brief impressions. Apricots, smoke, quince. Rich and ripe but with enough freshness.
