Still so dense. In feel and look. Lovely cool mountain Cab character. If anything this still showed a bit asleep but I doubt it. I say that because it didn't show much complexity. I doubt it needs much more time to find itself though if you have well stored bottles I wouldn't be in a rush. Only slightly faded on night two. These sorts of bottles take me away. Good stuff.

One spicy meatball. Black-Crimson and rich but balanced with a great tangy note of complexity. Won't lead you to a new philosophy or even a new place but it will remind you that aged cabs can be terrific fun. Structured enough for winter drinking but perfect with grilled meats and graceful enough to go a round with grilled chicken. A bargain still.

Grand larceny, wine 3. Mild, dusty tannin. Red fruit and herbs. Loads of wood. Back to my earlier experiences - a bit heavy-handed oak and simple. Yummy.

Grand larceny commemoration wine #2. Red fruit, subtle wood notes, but if spice. Essentially no tannin left. Pretty. Starting the downswing.

Medium red. Great resolved wine. Still shows some red fruit, cassis. Delicious and at it's peak.
