Further to my Note of May 9, '18: This is #3. Shared with five friends hosting dinner. Solid cork. Decanted with normal sediment for its age. Darker purple; mature redcurrant that follows on the palate, some complexity, good mouthfeel; some persistence. Delicious and the most popular red of the dinner of chicken with tarragon (relative to the other three). Unlikely to improve but still full of life; glad to have more.

Tasty and rich, but a bit muddled/muddy (even with decant). Lacking precision or any cut. A decent wine, but a bit disappointing for what should be an excellent mature French merlot.

Last bottle 12/24 and that note still applies. This is a good, ripe, modern bordeaux, although it could be from other places and that's probably the only knock here. Lots of warm dark fruits, cherries, and plum. This is ripe and sweet but with enough tannin for that not to be a problem. Overall, a solid right bank wine with plenty of time left despite the estimated ct drinking window. Nice qpr.

From memory. Pnp and probably didn't decant enough. Rich and spicy and still a lot of fruit left.
