  • Opened, poured and let sit about 30 min. Then: Maybe some dark fruit on the nose. Taste starts out with some nice dark fruit; medium body; acidity not a problem; tannins start out not that noticeable, but by the end of the glass (30 min) are a bit grippy; not over-ripe; 14.5% alcohol, but not noticeable. Not complex, but a pleasant BDX that I think can go a bit longer without a problem.

  • From magnum. Big bright fruit, still very primary, drinking very well with a nice nose, structure and length. Huge crowdpleaser with a Christmas Eve Chinese feast and great QPR. Should last for a number of years.

  • Pnp for dinner. Black berries and cherries, earth, graphite, and some herbs. Mostly Merlot, easy to drink and a good food wine, IMO this represents a good qpr if you like the style. Really a pretty big wine.

  • 80% Merlot and the rest mainly Cabernet Franc and a little bit Cabernet Sauvignon. Bought discounted as the last bottles of the vintage and for about 9,00€ a super bargain. Nice color with some evolution and on the nose cherries, cedar and chocolate. Smooth on the palate, very easygoing, with limited dept but very tasty and fresh. The 14,5% alchol is hardly noticeable. This is for me one of the best QPR in the entire Bordeaux region: I bought at bargain prices and what I rarely do in cases this wine from vintages 2003 (controversial but in a style I appreciated then, and maybe even today), 2012 (undervalued on the right bank) and 2015. This wine is ready to drink.
    Diam cork.
