I bought some bottles a few years ago on the recommendation of Jeff Leve. I tried one or two and thought they had a peculiar taste. I hoped a few years in the cellar would help. It hasn't. This is now a horrible wine. I can't even stand to keep it in my mouth long enough to describe it. My wife, who is much more tolerant, also can't stand to drink it. I will open my remaining bottles to be sure that this wasn't just a bad bottle. If they are the same, down the sink they will go. Addendum: I just opened another bottle. It is also awful. Mostly I get VERY tannic, almost burning my mouth. Also sweet and a bad taste. I can't leave it in my mouth long, and I certainly didn't swallow any. My wife says, "it's a bad wine." Third bottle: really foul!
Deuxième bouteille, après un essai il y a 3 ans environs, la grossièreté des tanins m'avait rebuté. Aujourd'hui il est à son apogée, robe légèrement fauve sur le bord. Tanins quasiment tous résolus. Beaucoup de douceur pour ces 3 ans supplémentaires de cave. Pas beaucoup de complexité, agréable et relativement équilibré, entre la matière, la fraîcheur et l'intégration de l'élevage, ce qui est l'essentiel. Un bon vin de semaine. A boire dans les 5 ans je dirais.

Coravin by the glass. Aromas of blackberry, currant, cedar, chocolate and graphite. Blackberry, cherry, cedar, cocoa powder, graphite and ripe tannins on the palate. Finishes with good persistence. Medium to full bodied. A good QPR. Served with grilled waygu and cheddar burgers,
