Medium red. Still mostly red meniscus. Medium diffuse deposit. Dark berry fruits, with some age complexity. A good example of Jasper Hill Georgia’s Paddock. Acid still dominant and the predominant deposit. Balances out with a flavoursome Osso Buco. Many years ahead of it.

Popped and poured for tonights ribeye - good choice. Still a young wine with plenty of primary fruit, olives, minerals, Cornas-like iron feel - while the fruit is unbridled Australian. Vertical style, manly, serious, dries out a bit at the end, the only factor that could worry in terms if further cellaring. - but it's great now.

Still has high acidity on the front palate. Fruit is subdued. Drank this after one hour decant. Think it needs a bit more time.

Corked. I know how hard the makers try to ensure top quality corks, but even they can get caught out by a piece of manly tree bark.
