Fine, yellow fruit, petrol, honey, wet rocks, little saltiness and green herbs in an elegant, almost reluctant, precise and steely wine. Almost dry on the palate and really opening up with air. Lean, but complex. Beautiful!
Poured by Cornelius as what he described I will paraphrase as a "not so good" year. Baked apples, , almost like an overcooked tart, but on the palate, still with good acidity, some lime, fresher apples, fine minerality, and decent balance, but certainly tired and lacking balance. Interesting and good, but more academically interesting than much else. 84
