Bright golden color, sweet nose of pear, maybe some honeysuckle, sweet flavors of apple and pear, reminds me of a vouvray I once had, no acidity, this has turned into a sweet wine and was still enjoyable and a nice surprise as reviews said it was over the hill 11 years ago. Though it is completely unlike any other Trimbach I have ever had, as a sweet wine it was nice.

TWC White Wine Group enjoy an evening of summer quaffers (Jenny & Jeremy's): A very plae wine with almost no color A muted nose expressing more chalk and mineral than fruit. Hints of apple in the mouth with steely dryness. Good secondary flavors as the wine gets some air - apple, pear - and other orchard fruits.

Terrific aroma of fresh-cut green apples and flowers, like sticking your head in a bowl of fruit salad. Not quite as good in the mouth, but still very nice. Soft, low acid, good body. A very enjoyable easy-drinker, particulary for under $10.

Trimbach Tasting (Liner & Elsen, Portland OR): Extremely floral bouquet. Full bodied, steely, gorgeous Alsace. Great fruit/acid balance. Yum.
