Light garnet colour. Nose offers up small red fruits, spice, leather and sous bois. Excellent fruit on palate with good balance of silky tannins and mineral acidity.Quite feminine in style! but my style of Burg.

Opened and slow oxed at home for an hour before departure. Removed cork again on arrival at St Genevieve and started drinking about 45 minutes later in a Burg glass. Semi translucent bright red color. Terrific earthy red berry and spicy nose. Superb classic Gevrey Chambertin! Finessed, elegant earthy red fruit, sous bois, spice and mineral on a weightless energetic frame. Another stunning balanced and pure 2010 from a slightly under the radar traditionalist from 60 year old vines. 13%alc. Love it and 2 more for 3+ years from now.

Decanted this time as previously thought. Was more enjoyable but the acidity a bit softer this time around but overall consistent with my previous profile.

Eye: Ruby Nose: Earth, under brush, menthol spice Palate: Earthy funk, pomegranate, blackberries with med+ acidity and med+ finish.
Overall this wine was fairly tight but loosen up nicely in a few hours. It was delicious after some time so my score may be a bit conservative but time we tell...Give this juice at least 3 if not 5 more years to finish its maturation. If you can't resist decant and let breathe for several hours. Enjoy!

Very pure and clean nose, nice red fruit with tones of leather, light and balanced sweetness. In mouth elegant tannins, fresh and vibrant long after taste. Nice job from this small upcoming producer.
