Im Gaumen gradlinig, frisch, knackige Frucht, top Tannin, perfekte Säure, das ist ein Musterschüler eines Syrah, wunderbar balanciert und mit fast nicht endendem Finale. Ausgezeichnet zu trinken, wer das im Keller hat, Flasche auf und Spass ist garantiert. Jetzt bis 2040

Dark fruits, slightly herbal, young, leather, cassis, aromatic with hydrocarbons, and a mix of red berry jam on the nose. The nose is better than the palate now, deep and earthy, savory, red fruits, more medium plus in weight, but with really grippy tannins. Lots of potential here, and quite fun now. 93-94pts.

  Rhone Rumble w/ JKW; 1/22/2021-1/23/2021 (Old Home of Woodward): Blind I flipped this with the first wine in the flight. The Juline seemed like a Hermitage and this seem more CdP'ish. More elegant than stern, with black cherry, meat, recently turned soil with underbrush and iodine. Not sure this improves a ton, now-2026

  One of the worst values in my cellar. Unremarkable, muddy wine. I like ‘dirty’ wines but this one is like eating a dirt clod dissolved in Kool-Aid.
