Really good and starting to hit its stride. Had my last magnum a few years ago and came across as powerfully and young This really was zinging along, some freshness and sweetness with underlying power - nose a touch reticent but with crab this sung a lovely tune. Belting bottle love the CT drinking dates Many years left and may even get better

A wonderful Condrieu. Apricot and mandarin nose with a hint orange peel, followed by a most elegant body but one with weight and grip. Lovely lingering finish. Oak was well under control and well balanced. Drink now or 5+ years from now.

Wine Night #2 Commanderie @ GWC!: 1st of 3 bottles which I brought tonight after a long lay-off! Yellow fruits, apricots, minerals, yellow flowers, beeswax, with a nice tinge of brioche. This was superb - complex, refined, vibrant. In a very good place now. Popular with the group tonight. One of my top 3 tonight! 94/95

Blind tasting dinner, all wines double blind. Medium gold. Wow, impressive nose, buttery but also crisp, very lactic, apricot, lemon, floral. On the palate it feels like a Chardonnay, fresh but with less acidity. Wonderfully creamy yet fresh. No idea where to place this, unlike any wine I had. Everybody was taken aback when this was revealed. Great showing and very popular wine tonight.
