Flight 5, Loire, Wine 5 (blind): The wine was medium lemon in colour and offered white fruit, ripe pear, quince, candle wax, wet wool and a mild spiciness on the nose. On the palate the wine showed quince, pear, grapefruit and mineral notes, paired with high racy acidity and very good length. A very good, well-structured wine that is ready to drink and will continue to drink well for several years.
