Wine Dinner at Providence; 7/30/2012-7/31/2012 (Providence): Light yellow with subtle copper hue; bright nose of tart apricot, under ripe tropical fruits, slight wax and light tea; light on its feet in the mouth but still concentrated, high acidity and a little saltiness in the back end with great tension. could use 5 years but I enjoy the vitality of this new vintage. This was great with salty butter and bacon bread! A bit too powerful for sashimi, but the salt seems to work well with this one. Maybe 92

From a 375. Apricot, glycerin and salinity on the clean, lengthy finish, but seems to lack depth relative to other vintages. Perhaps with time...

Superb. Still a baby and will benefit from 5 - 10 years cellar time.
