  PnP. Light bricking around the edges and a lovely nose. Not a heavyweight wine but nicely balanced. A sense that it may open up further if given a few more years.

  Velvety, medium bodied, excellent balance. Tannins dissolving but still there in the background (oddly it seems to get more tannic as it breathes - after a couple of hours - I wonder why?) A delicious drink that has at least 10 years left in it. Has developed considerably over the last 3 years.

  I wanted to love this, and when popped and poured I thought I would. There was a beautiful purity of seamless black cherry notes along with some smoky minerality. However, this lasted less than ten minutes before the wine shut down entirely, becoming acrid as the fruit disappeared. Dull phases are of course not at all unusual for Bordeaux but i didn't really expect it from this vintage.

  Für mich passt der sowas von gut zusammen! Natürlich mehr für die Fans der klassischen Weine. Perfekt zum Rind vom Grill.
