Medium deep tawny Aromas of cherry, licorice, strawberry preserve, lavender, chocolate fudge and terracotta. Medium body Finely grained lively tannins. Blackcurrant acids and black tea bitterness. Palate of cherry chocolate, rose, plum pie, aniseed, espresso and roasted walnut. A mature, rich and complex wine with very ripe fruit, elegant and vivacious acids and a beautifully perfumed and grand finish. Drink within 3-5 years. Tasted alongside Corton, Rognet, Bertrand Ambroise 2012 and the present wine is more developed and generous and has a serious inner core and a greater personality.

As always, the wines from Robert Chevillon performs great. Very delicate, yet typical NSG. I love it. Drinking well now, but I will keep my remining bottles at least 3-5 years in the cellar. P93-94

One of the, if not the, best Chevillon wines I have tasted, only the 2005 Les St Georges and Vaucrains would be about the same level. Very smooth with tannins that are present but well integrated. Long deliciously balanced fruit. A great accompaniment to roast beef.

A little chunky, def NSG. Unctuous but still some nice freshness. Wait to drink for another 10 years
