  • I know this is very young, but I wanted to check in on it as i haven‘t tried this when I took delivery.
Deep ruby color. First slightly closed, but giving at least a preview with super ripe dark cherries, some plum, dark chocolate, earthy mineral notes, also some candied violets, a touch of graphite, too. It‘s pretty full-bodied, with moderate medium-high acidity for such a young LSG, there is medium-high tannin that is present at this stage, but with the level of fruit I am pretty confident that it will integrate with 5-10 years in bottle. Excellent length. A pretty extraordinary LSG that is decidedly ripe than some of the more classic vintages, but I think this will all come together really nicely with some bottle-age. (95+)
