  • Nothing wrong with this wine. Honored to try it. Not much fruit left, acidity and tannin remain. Not offensive. Very delicate/hard to puir with any stronger flavors. Try onion soup, or beef bourguignon.

  • We were blown away by the beauty of this wine. It was one of those unexpected moments. Indeed, when Jeff opened this he said"I think this is probably over the hill, but we'll give it a sniff. I've got something else on standby." It only took a few sniffs and sips before our whole wine enthusiast perspective shifted into a new space. This particular bottle at that particular moment was perfectly balanced and perfectly textured. Cindy says it may be the best wine she’s ever tasted...at the very least, it is one of the most personally significant. We only regret that one bottle is all we had.
