  Bouquet with black fruits, sweet spices and graphite. On the palate the same impressions. Firm, but good acidity and tannin. The wine is still a few years too young, but with a decant of 4 hours prior to drinking, certainly a pleasure. 88 - 89

  Strong colour; single decant, very dusty nose, only cleaned up after 3 hours. Classic Graves nose, steady; shapely palate, undermined by marked acidity which led to hollow mid-palate. Finishes well. Future prospects difficult to judge.
