A very satisfying bottle this evening with no pox and at a nice point of its evolution. I gave this a quick decant in a small carraf style ridel and it helped in popping out what I consider classic high Puligny apple notes and a nice hint of saline verve. Nice richness that is well balanced with ample acidity gives a full mouth but stays focused although the nervousnss of youth has subsided which is appropriate for it's age ( a friend who is quite a burg aficionado guessed 2010 blind so that puts it in prospective) . With a little more air this puts on a softer presence and roundness more akin to the Chassagne side. Bottles of this provenance should easily drink well for another half decade probably longer. A small amount left overnight on preserver for testing purpose was commandeered by the Chef for the following evening's braise-oh well :o)... Wish more of my white burgs performed in such a fashion.

Reception wine. Kept cool and didn't open bottles till they were ready to drink, based on the last experience with this where it faded quickly. Served this way, it came out fine. But the wine is definitely near the end of its lifetime if you like your Puligny's fresh.
