Courtesy of Beachrooster some years ago, finally opened. Deep amber color, flint and minerals with just hints of fruit still remaining. Had sufficient body and acidity to pair with duck confit and ratatouille.

Color dark straw. Flint and burnt match nose. Smooth mouthfeel with a tart fruity palate. medium finish. I was guessing some type of old reisling. Opps.

OCP4W IX (WCC in Irvine, CA): -- tasted blind over 20 minutes -- -- this was white wine # 10 (a.k.a.: John's wet bottom) --
Golden yellow color. First whiff on the Nose screamed Burgundy to me. Typical chard. aromas with a wash of toasted popcorn kernels at the forefront. Still lots of fruit hanging-on to the Palate, with ample minerals on the long finish. I liked this quite a lot.
