Consumed most of this between two of us over the course of about 2 and 1/2 hours. This started off with a mixture of reduction and toasted wood, and it's still there after the time it sat in our glasses and we continued to pour small amounts of it over the course of the time. So with those who have already posted notes that talk about some new wood I would agree with that. Underneath that though is a cool orange citrus, a distinct pear and stoniness in the finish. There's a savory lime acidity that also penetrates the wine that mixes with the stoniness and overall I'd say this is very good but it seems quite young at this point given the barrique signature that's living here. Enjoyed drinking this a lot and reminds me how really good white burgundy can be.

Still very young. Toasty oak not yet fully integrated, buttery, great length and sexy hint of reduction (just a hint). This will be significantly better in 3-5 years once oak integrates. Tightly wound at the moment as well.

Drank at home with Dungeness crab (from Costco) - another excellent bottle.
