awful. sweet (almost like a demi-sec), with no complexity. a nadir for a vintage wine from this estate - drank about as poorly as any champagne I can recollect (including supermarket bottlings). Bottle wasn't flawed.

Golden, good acidity, apples, markable dosage. Loads of bruised apples and yeasty notes. A bit short but overall good.
Drink.

Beautifully mature - golden colour, good mousse, lively and still "fresh", rich - very enjoyable

We waited too long to drink this one. It was no longer special (as a VC vintage should be); in fact, it was a little harsh.
