  • Tea, plum fruit, and earth on the nose and palate. A touch rustic initially but it smoothed out with some air.

  • Funky nose, especially at first was way too cold. This had been opened over 5 hours prior to serving, and still kept getting better in the glass. By around hour 7-8 it hit its stride, lovely rose petals, and wet clay.

  • I love this wine. It's not what I would call "user friendly" - you have to come to it. Very earthy at first and some funk on the nose, but the fruit gets sweeter and more prominent as it gets more time in the glass. Slight bricking, soft tannins, medium finish. Would have liked to follow it for hours, given how much it improves with air, but the bottle went quickly.

This bottle was perfect condition. Super bright ruby with dark core that we thought this was from 90s, but hey! How wrong! The seductive, expressive nose offer lots of sweet cherry fruits along with sweet fig, coffee notes all lifted by acidity of orange with touch of alcohol, complex and compelling. The seductive profile continue to explode on the lively, refine palate with sweet, pure profile with mineral undertones that shows good sense of harmonious, immense balance and vibrancy with good complexity and depth, while this is not as dense as the 78, it is more refine, polished as well as finesse with soft persistent, juicy finish with a little touch of coffee notes that prolong the long finish. A complete wine that link me to ZEN. Buy – Yes.
