  Jim Anderson / PGC dinner - Etzel Block Vertical and Blind Tasting (New England): Highly concentrated. Great structure. Should age well. Still has some sauvage characteristics.

  Pop and pour and tasted with food (grilled chicken, in case you were wondering) and then on its own after recorking and refrigerating.
  Bright ruby red color. Nose is invitng, giving some red berries, toast and forest floor and hint of violets and lavendar.
  Inviting red fruit flavors balanced with bright acidity. Moutwatering acidity in fact.
  Good fruit to balance it all. Not tremendous depth at this early stage but this is inviting and delicious.
