  Tasted blind, this wine had a medium red center with orange/clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose offered up cherry, sandalwood, plums, and minerals.
  
  In the mouth, this wine was gorgeously balanced with rounded tannin and very good length.
  
  This was a treat to try and should certainly be opened in the next 5 years.

  (PY) The highlight of the night. The complex and profound nose of this wine is on another level, loaded with Asian spices, mint and dried flower. It is sleek, palate coating and beautifully balanced with mid-palate sweetness and impressive length. This is showing really well tonight, though probably a touch too soft for my palate. I can’t help but think it is in decline.

  In a perfect place right now, but i expect this beauty to hold on it's plane of maturity for a few more years. You are lucky indeed if you still have some of this in your cellar. Impressive complex smokey nose leads to a perfectly balanced palate with no signs of drying out. nice acidity and well tamed tannins keep the focus. Long finish. This is what aging great Burgundy is all about.
