  The Roots Fund Charity Wine Dinner (Atelier - Chicago IL): Late night taste. Spiced red and black cherry with good volume and complexity, but not at the level of this in most vintages. A wine that has never thrilled me.

  Tasted 07/08 Reignots and Suchots side-by-side. Beautiful nose with asian spices, underwood, cherry, and wild strawberry. Good acidity on the palate with lovely flavors of forest, mushrooms, savory, and more strawberry. Nice finish. A lovely wine, probably the most complex and showy. Slightly behind the 2008 Reignots for me, which had a bit more depth and intensity.
