Medium gold colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe green apples, ripe lemon, salty sea, walnuts, wet stone, chalk, butter, acacia and charred wood. Medium taste of ripe green apples, ripe lemon, grilled lemon, walnuts, salty sea, chalk, charred wood and mushrooms. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Chablis Premier Cru that has developed beautifully. Needed 15 min in the glass to open. Drink now. Goes well with cheeses, fish or shellfish.

Medium yellow. Citrus, slightly mineral nose. More acidity and tension than the Moreau '16 Vaillons tasted beside it, longer finish too, and a bit more Chablis typicity. Quite ripe, but flavours stay in the Meyer lemon range, don't broach apple or even tropical like the Moreau does. A definite mineral lick on the finish. Nicer mouthfeel too. More classic, but not really classic. Hinting at classicism. Tasty.

Not one of the best from this team. Just too fat and uninflected. JH425 below is unkind, but basically correct. The wine lacks mineral structure.
In global warming, I am worried about Chablis.
