  • Dark color, tannic, not sure if fruit is dissipating, is wine going up or down, lots of sediment, ok sipping, medium body, never took off, have a few more bottles so we will see how it develops, drank with rack of lamb and spinach pie.

  • 2 hours air.

Bright ruby color. Offers raspberry, red plum, espresso, white pepper, potting soil and cardamom. Creamy, medium-full bodied, with a frame of polished tannins that are surprisingly resolved, given the wine's youth. Raspberry and mouthfuls of dirt, with a lingering finish. Robust, round with a seductive edge to it. Drinking fine now, but with plenty of runway ahead of it.

  • Balanced, tannic with good fruit, nice sipping, complex flavors, good structure, 13.5% abv, drank easily, medium body, really like this winery, drank with strip steak, will drink again.

  • Very woody, and dry on the open, mostly tasting of wood, gravel and earth. Fruit was very subdued, almost non-existent. Didn't really open much in the decanter, even with aeration and time. Barely noticeable fruit, somewhat bitter and tasted like chewing on wood and rocks. Not sure if a bad bottle or what but ended up pouring most of it out.

  • Deep ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with red plum, blackcurrant, eucalyptus, black pepper and vanilla. Medium (+) taste of red plum, blackcurrant, eucalyptus, black pepper, licorice, vanilla, cedar and forest floor. Long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A very good Margaux that has begun the maturation, but is still young. Drink in five to fifteen years. Goes well with beef or lamb.
