Two hour double decant. Deep dark magenta color. Cinnamon roll and black cherry are the dominant notes. Smooth, dry palate. Full, soft tannins on the longish finish.
I brought this to our monthly supper club. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this is drinking. My notes don’t do it justice. Definitely a bit Napa-leaning, which is just my style. With that said, it has an overall elegant vibe that lets you know it’s Bordeaux.

Decanted for three hours. This goddess is without a doubt the finest young Clerc to date. Cassis, black currants, green tobacco, black cherries, sous bois and valerian root. A full-bodied wonder, with a sailing finish that is wide and almost panoramic. There’s polished tannins with grip; there’s cut. This unfolds rather nicely. Density. This will age forever and is better than ‘05, ‘89, ‘16, ‘09 and ‘86. No hard edges but this is still taut. Drink 2026 -.

Powerful dense layers of black fruit, pencil shavings and tight but smooth tannins. Deep dark red. Juicy and starting to drink well.

Still need some time. Probably at least another 3-5 years. Still quite enjoyable after decanting for 3 hours.

Nothing special, initial nose of pine, earth and oak. Tasetd quite bland.
