Interesting. Pretty reductive to start. Had a bit more unique flair compared to the flabby 2005 and the more textbook 2019. Picked up weight with air. Good and tasty, but also nothing really contemplative.

Bright lemon flavors with splashes of lime and honeydew. Palate was unctuous with some heat on the finish. The heat dissipated with some air...I’d sit on any bottles you have.

First time trying Stony Hill. Definitely a bright, acidic, dryer Chardonnay. Lots of citrus flavors mixed in with some floral notes and Granny Smith apple. No oak influence so lighter mouthfeel. Also lots of minerality. Good but not sure I would buy again.

Bad bottle. Cork was intact, but wine had soured with a musty smell.
