Pear, peach and honey, moderate acids, just a little of a sweet caramel note that makes me wonder about incipient oxidation. Drinking well now, unsure that I would hold. B/B+.

Legendary! Gold color with flashes of orange. Nose: floral, rich balm, verbena and myrrh even sweet green fig and honeycomb. Flavors: intense quince, asian pear and minerals. Really rich and actually full bodied but the finish stays lively and very long... nothing tart or disjointed at all. Balance is perfect. Drink now, or next 2 years, its really fabulous and everything owning old Stony Chard is meant to be.
I noticed one bottle of this seemed a bit darker than others, so popped. Rich honied pear and apple fruit, good acids, some vanilla and lemon curd. Holds up well over evening, my premox worries misplaced. B+/B

Fruit (peach), strong floral, slight honey, good acidity. Fruit a little reserved. Floral a bit more dominant. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable. With an hour or so of air, better balance.
