Sat in the bottle for 2 hours. Took a glass worth out to allow air to hit the wine. Soft dark fruit an softer red fruit flavors on the palate with a nice amount of time on the finish. It doesn’t die down fast either. It holds its weight Very light tannins but they seem to build a lil bit as the taste lingers on your palate an acidity is balanced more than the tannins are. Nose has a dark fruit smell with some oak influence but all are pretty harmonious with one another DEfinately a good drinker an a wonderful qpr. Day 2 earthy fruit flavored nose Dark an red flavored fruit with soft tannins Finish lingers but not as intense an Long as yesterday but still really nice an still holds some power an precision as it lingers on the palate. Tannins are overpowering everything but not harsh at all. Guna try this with some food momentarily. I’m sure it will work well considering the texture an power of the tannins

Wonderful stuff. Not an extracted style – this is medium bodied, red fruited, energetic, and graceful. Good depth. This needs time to integrate its oak, but I'm expecting a terrific experience in about ten years.

I’ll continue the echo that this is quite young but I wanted to try the vintage. More or less undrinkable on day one, I put this in a decanter and then back in the bottle for an overnight stay in the fridge. Day two was much better. Dark fruits, cassis, oak notes. Tobacco. High tannins and pretty darn good acidity. I’d totally sit on this guy for quite a while. It was really good though.

A Bordeaux, fellow passenger, to be included in your Cellar order with St. Peter in the event your drinking window may be in danger of closing prematurely. More saintlier passengers than me will have first dibs; even angels check Parker ratings.

Tried 09.2023. Still very young and strong tannins. Try again in 2029
