Part of a "Little Brother" or 2nd wine night with my wine group at a NYC restaurant. It was opened, but not decanted for over an hour before pouring. Somehow, it was a little less impressive than my previous bottle. My 3rd favorite of the 4 reds.

90 min decant; This wine is truly outstanding! Rich, black fruit integrated nicely with acid and tannin, following through to a lengthy finish of vanilla oak and espresso with hints of dark chocolate. Kinda sad I didn't go deeper on this vintage...maybe I can find more. Drink now - 2033+.

Big bold and beautiful. In Bordeaux I never drink the second label but the QPR of the CVR is so good compared to the high end QC that I prefer it. This is also better than any CA can in the $50 price range. Great with steak!

Really needed a night of air to shed overt oak (coconut is not my favorite flavor in wine), but was quite tasty on night two.

hopefully in a dumb phase. Hollow with some earth tones.
