This is just not speaking to me tonight. Overwrought with eucalyptus and with a texture that is missing depth. That said, the tannins are soft and of excellent quality. On another occasion, I may like this quite a bit more, but for now I will let it age. 90- 91

Very rich (and heady) nose loaded with boysenberry and damson plum jam, eucalyptus, dried herbs and hints of chocolate. Full-bodied, this is very fruit-driven. Devotees of this style will LOVE the fruit-soaked palate. While absolutely loaded with blue and black fruits, they aren't overripe nor jammy, just very ripe. The palate has more poise than I expected at first with some bright acidity and just enough tannin to keep it all together. This should probably be consumed during its first 12 years of life. It's important to remember that no The Caley was made in this vintage, so presumedly all or some of the fruit ended up here (or in the Signature, which apparently was made but not released in 2017). Drink now-2029+ 93

Light-medium weight for a Coonawarra Cab, 13.5% abv, evidence of its cool and wet vintage. Tart red currant and sour plum fruit with hints of vanilla, chocolate and mint. A classic Bordeaux-style wine for the ages, especially if it gains a little weight in bottle, or will it be a bit too thin and lean as the fruit fades? Hard to tell at this stage. Definitely has potential to gain points depending on how it evolves.
