Excellent mature sauternes. Color: dark amber. Nose: woody caramel. Palate: Dark candied orange. Persistence 45-60 secs +. Really enjoyable bottle, but drink up, as likely slightly past it’s prime

Cork crumbled away so was a bit concerned. No need as the golden nectar contained in the bottle was in excellent shape. Melon, honey suckle and orange peel on the rich nose. Full fruit on the palate, still absolutely fresh - apricot and peach. Long slightly nutty finish. Really excellent and drinking perfectly 92.

Medium gold in color. Medium sweet and not cloying. Good balance between fruit, acidity and 14.5% alcohol. Harmonious. Very little evidence of botrytis. Very nice finish. Really good stuff at 25 years of age. It is drinking well now, and I really don't see any reason to age it longer, although obviously it is capable of going the distance.

Deep, dark golden color. Not much of a nose; what there is hints of caramel and dried fruit. Good medium-full mouthfeel with acid and sweetness in balance. Much of the fruit has faded. Adequate. [Cheese course @ Fringale ]

Citrus nose, balanced acidity, smooth rich fruit. Lovely on its own.
