Powerful. I tend to find C9DP a bit too smooth (for lack of a better description) and not really worth the price, but this one was good! Powerful, fruity and spicy. Alcohol nicely kept in check, noticeable but not overpowering. Not that much tannins and nice acidity. We ate lamb stew with polenta and it was a very nice match!

2020 Rhone's (Bottega Coco): Strawberry notes have a slight compote quality, sweet spice, touch of raspberry, clean and fruit forward but, with time, a touch of garrigue. Juicy, textured woody grip is chalky textured, alcohol warmth, ripe red berry, touches of sweet spice, that garrigue note translates to the palate, slightly bitter on the finish but okay to nice.

The kirsch and cherries with their strawberry and floral accents on the nose and palate are working well here. Medium-bodied, soft, fresh, vibrant, forward and elegant, shows a lot of purity on the palate and in the finish. Drink from 2022-2032.

Pop and pour. This is ready to go with medium body, cherry, medium acid. Delicious.

Drinking well right now. It would probably soften a little with age but I wouldn't hesitate to open one if you have a couple
