(92-94 vvPunkte) Purpurrot und dicht. Die Nase ist reiffruchtig, zeigt eine reife Frucht, dezente Toast-Noten, Gewürze. Im Gaumen dicht, mit guter Konzentration, die Struktur ist sehr gut, die Tannine sind reif, der Wein hat Kraft und Finesse, gehört dieses Jahr zu den sehr gelungenen Weinen. 2027-2045 (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2022. The wine is medium-bodied, soft, forward and fruity, with a bit of dust in the tannins and in the chewy fruit finish. Close to 50% of the crop was lost to the frost. En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Served at Pavie Plummy ripe, extracted, new oak, sweet spice, alcohol prickle lends spice. The palate a reflection of the nose; thickly engaging, tannins are subdued (compared to the alcohol-soaked fruits) and woody. Hmm
