A few years ago I tasted this alongside a Don Melchor and a Carmin De Peumo at Concha Y Toro winery in Chile and thought all three were fantastic. Highly recommend a visit if you ever get the chance. Fast forward to present and grateful I could have this wine again. It’s still young and needs some time to open up but even now this wine is consistent and a solid choice. Red and blue fruits, chocolate, smooth… lovely.

Tasted this wine at the Walkabout Tasting at Crystal Wines - Valley Point Chilean Extraordinaire.
This wine tasted better than the previous experience. Very rounded and smooth. Taking the middle of the road approach, the energy, acidity, fruits and alcohol are all hanging in perfect balance.
A very well made and crafted wine. A wine reserved for special occasions and events.

Walkaround tasting so just short notes: This is truly a great wine. In the bouquet toast and some smoke as well as dark berries. On the palate the same impressions, minerals, beautiful acidity and tannin. Full bodied and a great length. 95 – 96

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red and black fruits, chocolate coffee, spices, violet. Medium+ acidity and high tannin. Still youthful. Will improve with ageing.

Tasted this at the Almaviva Wine Dinner organised by Infinite Wines at the Nest @ One Farrer.
Made up of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Carménère, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot.
The freshness of this wine is overwhelming and amazing. Some aged leather with chocolates. Speaker shared that this vintage was harvested earlier than usual due to the start of the COVID pandemic.
