I didn't like this nearly as much as my last bottle, nor nearly as much as the Lafarge. The scents were much quieter with a bit of stoniness going on and the tannin totally resolved, but it had a juiciness to it that made the whole thing seem awkwardly put together and never quite as harmonious as a mature wine ought to be.

Really lovely; resolved and fully mature with red fruits, savoury earth and developed forestal elements combining into a whole that glides like silk across the palate.

Impressive red fruit nose. Plenty of the same red fruit on the palate backed up by a certain somewhat severe hardness/astringency. No flaws otherwise. Color is fine - mid lifish. Stay tuned. A late bloomer ahead at now 27 years of age?

A sumptuous aroma to swoon for if you're a fan of old Burgundy with just enough old-school horsiness, and the first few sips almost lived up to the scent. But whereas it started off as a silky, seductive wine with a background seasoning of crushed stone and flavors advanced into a brothy savoriness, after a little bit the material started thinning out and the tannin coarsening and drying it out. Did better with food but never lived up to its initial promise.

Very impressive with a wonderful silky texture. Floral with violets and earthy notes with sweet fruits. Very nice.
