Now sadly ennervated and while still has some attractive papery cabernet franc notes this is disappointingly faded - and based on this bottle should have been drunk at least 5 years ago.

My first experience with Joguet and despite the firs bottle being corked, the second was terrific. Very earthy bouquet and palate with vibrant fruit. A wine with soul.

Color bleeds out almost to the edge. Only slight bricking. Expressive nose with perfume, black pepper, brambles and mixed berries. Very bright on the palate with somewhat restrained, pure fruit. Medium finish. Very drinkable.

Quite delicious and well into its drinking zone. Not as complex or complete as the Dioterie, but very tasty.
