Wow. Total surprise. Wonderful aged Cab nose. Good light and bright color. Maintained its flavor through dinner. Was the favorite early on against the Mt Edelstone. Drink to enjoy.

Cork shows smeared, dried wine travel, looks like exposure to high temperature. Alas, the wine has that smoky, metallic barbecue aroma and palate I associate with heat-damaged wines. This was a recent purchase.

Attractive, nuanced mountain fruit aromas with cedar, fresh cut herbs and cigar ash. Fruit on the palate is round and complex though still burly with finely gritty tannin. Ready but room to age and smooth out further. 12.5 ABV

Surprisingly young tasting, fruit intact with plenty of acid, tannins integrated. Bit of bramble, not super complex, but very nice.
