  Grands Echezeaux: Served blind. This was a confounding wine, so much material here ruined by TCA. It wasn't undrinkable, the TCA was quite minor at first. If not for this flaw, would have showed brilliantly -- some thought it would have been wine of the day. Cork aside, it's a testament to the ageworthiness of MM's GE. There was a polish and presence to the wine that was remarkable, would love to taste a sound bottle of this wine sometime.
