Opened 2 hours. Color is pale brick red. On the nose: Tart red cherries and some Asian spice. On the palate: Tart cherry and strawberry. A fair amount of spice. Smooth.

Blinded. Brownish red with bricking. Seemingly a bottle with noticeable age. Nose was sous bois, earth, mushroom, with some cherry fruit, and a hint of medicinal candy. Palate was resolved, hint of oak shows but not dominant. Finish was strangely clipped. When revealed as 2008, the thought is there's probably some heat/storage issue with the bottle.

From 375 ml bottle in great condition. Black and red cherry with some berry hints and plenty of spice coming through everywhere. This wine starts of out so elegantly and refined, but finishes with more power. Drinking beautifully now from this format, but I'd expect patience will still be rewarded for 750+ ml bottles.

opened 2 hours before. nose is opulent from the beginning. brick color, and unfiltered. Gorgeous, elegant and persistent nose.fruit is upfront and balanced by nice acidity. well balanced and good structure. Definitely a Grand Cru. Red fruits give this ens of elegance.

Wine was properly stored from purchase upon release at the Domaine until consumed.
Lovely intense aroma of dark cherries. Delicious wine.
