In drinking window. Heavy sediments. Nice balanced casis and fruit notes. Good, not exciting but given the fair price point it’s a buy

Darker shade. Started off sharp and lemony, but with air the yeasty biscuit notes emerge providing good interplay. Finishes a bit short. Good but not this price point good

Excellent. Tannins quite resolved and ready. Good acidity from vintage to balance. Good winemaking finding the balance

Surprisingly quality given the vintage. I found this just a touch behind the superb 06 in terms of quality and ahead of the 04/08. 2009 & 2010 ruled the bunch in a 2004-2013 vertical

The densest Fourrier I've tasted, young Morey indeed, but with the Fourrier signature elegance balancing everything. Still 3 years+ away from prime time. Felt like as if someone blended Fourrier Gevrey with a Dujac MSD if that makes sense:)

Very tropical and ripe. All pineapples and mangoes that is lacking a bit or contrast and acidity. Goes down well but a tad simple. A Dom 13 tasted thereafter showed the difference in class

Not very far off from the quality of the 08, but at a much more attractive price. Minerality is very pronouced and interplays nicely with light brioche notes. Just a tad short on the length. An accomplished wine

A step up from from last bottle. Cab franc dominated profile, resolved smooth and quafffable. Still distinguish able as Bdx but at the lighter, more elegant side of the spectrum

Delicious. Right smack in middle of the mineral vs toast spectrum owing perhaps to the vintage (which calibrated the house style). Textbook champagne. Biscuits, light toast, pears and lemon all there in harmony and complimentary proportions. Buy

Serviceable, middle of road kind of style. At sharper, 🍋 end of spectrum. Very faint yeast notes

A step behind the '10. Lighter and higher acid, but the signature strawberry/white flowers/ fungal/ earthiness mix is there to intrigue. More persistence and "stickiness" would be nice

Fragrant like a pinot, only the stern tannins and a little heat gave it away as Neb. Pleasant but in a lighter style. High acid, rosebuds and citrusy notes

Very dense with creamy oak in support. The tannins and acid still bite a little suggesting more bottle age would be beneficial. Good material but not at peak yet

Developed a lot of old leather, tobacco and smoky notes since last taste 3 years ago (where it was more fruit driven). Best case is if the fruit remerges after further aging to balance the dominant tertiary notes now. 92 for now

The mousse, aromas & acidity seemed a tad volatile. Lack the assured winemaking of the more established NVs.

It's obviously well made in the bready, yeasty house style. Balanced and finishes clean. Heavier style in the spectrum. Looking more complexity after bubbles diffuses.

It's a well constructed wine but expecting more for a 09. Acidity is quite elevated for the vintage. While the signature meaty notes are present intermixed with dark fruits, it needed more persistence, length and overall complexity to be convincing.

Savory profile mixed with new leather. Polished, composed and finishes reasonably long. A distinctly non-fruity wine so more intellectual than hedonistic. Good frame .

Upon PnP quite unbalanced with strong reduction and tannins. Over time in glass, improved incredibly and secondary nuances emerged and found its equilibrium. Very persistent aromas of ripe black fruit mixed with cedarwood incense and old leather Glossy but well constructed, finish impressively long. Complex and quality wine.

Rare for a white WOTN. Luxurious bouquet and oily texture of elderflower, macadamia nuts and some contrasting leanless to balance. Very complex and engaging. Not fat at all even when drank without food. Impressive length.

My first A.Rousseau. the nose is amazing- layered, complex Nd dancing between soil and red fruit tones. Palate is several notches down, missing the density, playfulness and length of the bouquet. Expensive for what it's delivering but thankful for chance to try

Pencil lead, lavender tobacco and rounded nose, enjoyable and open. Palate is well constucted upfront but turns a bit hollow in the middle and finish tapers off rather abruptly.

Good not great. The requisite lemon curd, sea spray oyster shells influence is there, just not as intense. Had MdT from same producer which provided the persistence and piecring acidity to balance. Puizes Forets is more airy and elegant. This one is a notch down in terms of intensity and polish or elegance but still good.

Very well constructed. All the elegant aged notes you'd want from a first growth bdx with the accompanying length and intensity. Prime drinking. Scores perfectly on technical merits for the vintage but somehow just lacks the X factor you'd gush over.

This bottle seemed over the hill. Rusty brown in colour and smell. Oxidised notes but still some residual complexity and sweetish red fruit on the palate hanging on. Seen better years.

Full and substantial, not unlike a top '05 Pomerol but with more sunny notes and a hint of classy American oak. Black fruit profile, tertiaries not yet obvious but the material is definitely there for long aging. Well done

Aristocratic. Broad shouldered and still bundled up fruit and dark-coffee tannins to resolve after 2 decades, easily another 5 to 10 years before full maturity. The underlying fruit is cashmere and obvious intensity/ length for its pedigree, but bitter tannins still stick out at the end. 95pts for now with ample upside with age. Rarity is its calling card.

Salty cured meat and cedar notes emerging from age. Fruit is no longer at the forefront and some oak left. Overall balanced but somewhat unremarkable (group mistaken it for a N Rhone Syrah in a blind).

Generous and persistent nose of something sweet and sour, like rose water laced with lychee. V interesting bouquet. Palate is not as refined - somewhat blunt with pomegranate, some sweetness and high alcohol. For sure a super over hitter at Cote du Rhone level, but prices are not CdR.

Finally starting to be approachable (last bottle 3 years back was a glob of tannins/ fruit). Open, modern black fruited style, but nonetheless with some Bdx subtleties emerging w bottle age. Will continue to develop and gain tertiary nuances. Long life ahead
